It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerda Peetsma of Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Piet Peetsma; and her grandson Austin. She is survived by: her children, Brenda McDonald (Jayme), Mark Peetsma and Hank Peetsma (Ardith); and her grandchildren, Zac (Monikah), Isaac Peetsma, Jacob and Megan McDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
