He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurthur Austin and Lillian Austin; his siblings, Beatrice Hoehn, Ron of Lloyd and Glenn; his brothers-in-law, Elmer Hoehn, Ben Schmidt and Martin Pashenek; and his son-in-law Rick Beisel.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Austin; his children, Jim Austin of Medicine Hat, Wendy Heidinger (Dennis) of Medicine Hat, Terry Austin of Medicine Hat and Randy Austin (Dee) of Medicine Hat; his grandchildren, Samantha Austin (Marcy), Charlotte Austin, Ashley Austin, Justin Heidinger, Crystal Stoyke (Kelly), Jeff Beisel (Laura), Chelsea Austin, Justin Austin, Chris Lowe, Amber Lowe and Anna Austin; his sister Jean Schmidt of Dot Austin; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Austin, Marlys Austin and Darlene Austin.
