He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Nichols and Clifton Nichols; and his siblings, Eddy, Ralph, Walter, Earl and Irene.
He is survived by: his spouse Patricia of Langdon; his children, Dale of Langdon, Darlene (Mark) of Calgary and Dennis (Tara) of Langdon; his grandchildren, Michael, Braydon, Caitlin (Garrett), Hunter, Kyle (Ariel) and Brianna; his great grandchild Ava; and his pet Sammy.
