Glykeria Demitt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glykeria Demitt (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glykeria Demitt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sotirios Papantoniou and Aikatarini Papantoniou; her husband Panagiotis (Peter); her brothers, Andreas and Antonios; and her grandson Peter.

She is survived by: her sons, Anast (Diane) and George; her granddaughter Carolyn (Michael); and her sisters-in-law, Eleni, Nitsa, Zoe and Vasiliki. She is also survived by many godchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Hellenic Community of Calgary Philoptochos Society.
