He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothea Toole and Herman Toole. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Toole of Beiseker, AB; his daughters, Leanne Zimmer (Darryl) and Pamela Schiemann (Michael); his grandchildren, Adam, Ashley, Tyler, Christopher and Olivia; and his siblings, Linda Myszczyszyn (Dale), Lorna Sutherland (Rick), Gwenda Wotton (Ray) and Edwin Toole (Holly).
