She was predeceased by: her husband Neil Wallace; her birth parents, Niels and Valborg Nielsen; her adoptive parents, William Mortensen and Marie Mortensen; her siblings, Gordon Nielsen (Sophie), Elsie Ostensen (Ole), Eric Nielsen (Ethel), William Mortensen (Deanna) and Donald Mortensen; her parents-in-law, John and Mary Wallace; and her sisters-in-law, Mary MacKay (George) and Kathleen Nowak (Julian).

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Dornan (Wayne) and Keith Wallace (Kim); her grandchildren, Brett, Shawn Dornan, Breanna, Emily and Jillian Wallace; and her sisters-in-law, Fran Mortensen and Fay Mortensen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
