With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gunnild Nielsen Taylor (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Niels Kristian Nielsen and Erna Tove Thajesta Spliid; her husband Ross Taylor; her siblings, Karen (Allan Luft), John (Gila Nielsen) and George (Rita Nielsen); and also, Jens and Frode Sylvest Nielsen.

She is survived by: her children, Barney Ross Taylor (Myrle Elizabeth Nielson) and Janice Christine McAllister (Douglas Ellis McAllister). She is also survived by her fifty-four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

We are especially grateful for the sacrifices they made, despite COVID, that allowed us to have facetime calls with our mother prior to her passing.
