He was predeceased by: his parent Alice Elder of Calgary, AB; his sister Kendra Kennedy of Cherryville, BC; his daughter-in-law Cassandra Fries of Airdrie, AB; and his sister-in-law Robyn Collins of Turner Valley, AB.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Elder of Calgary, AB; his children, Quinn Andrew Elder of Calgary, AB and Lauren Elizabeth Elder (Stéphane Caron); his grandson Sawyer Caron of Calgary, AB.; his sisters, Kellie Elder of Calgary, AB and Karla Palardy (Rick) of Calgary, AB; his parents-in-law, Howard and Verda Collins of Diamond Valley, AB; his siblings-in-law, Donita Evdokimoff (Peter) of Bragg Creek, AB, Patricia Dwyer (Basil) of Strathmore, AB, Darryl Collins of Calgary, AB and Howard Collins of Diamond Valley, AB; his close friend Kevin Julian (Anna) of Calgary, AB; his uncle John; and his aunt Fran. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
