He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yee and Gun Hing Yee; and his brother Jim Yee. He is survived by: his wife May Ching; his daughters, Elizabeth, Karen, Susan, Leslie (Michael) and Linda (Joe); and his grandchildren, Maya and Dominic. He is also survived by his many nieces and his nephew and grand-nieces.
