He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ludmila Coates; his stepchildren, Nadia Brante (Pablo), Rodion Karavaev (Iryna), Victoria, Ekaterina, Vera and Alexander; his children, Sherri Muir, Daniel and David; his siblings, Albert, Earl and Karen Sack; and his son Balfour Beatty. He was also cherished by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
