Hector Poirier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hector Poirier (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his friend Hector Poirier; his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Marcel (Vimmy), Tootsie (Joe), Emma (Gordon), Florence (Fred) and Julie (Reg); his son-in-law Kent; and his parents, Gladys and Louis.
He is survived by: his sister Bella (late Ben); his brother-in-law Fred (Mila); his daughters, Carmen, Nancy, Suzanne, Wendy (Mark) and Paulette; his grandchildren, Ashley, Alexa (Rod), Joel, Ty, Clayton, Paige, Luc, Adjani and Emani; and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Arissa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Hector's life can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Brenda Stafford Foundation or Ducks Unlimited Canada.
