She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Alan Griffiths; and her siblings, Ewald, Bruno Pipke and Frieda Wallace. She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda Block (Lawrence) and Elaine Coutu (Aidan Colleran); her grandchildren, Carmen Magneson (Brent), Jason Block (Erin), Stefanie and Tessa Coutu; and her great grandchildren, Camden and Brinley Magneson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Hedy's name to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
