With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen Margaret Fenske (Calgary, Alberta), born in Bawlf, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sonke Matzen and Anne Matzen; her husband Harvey; and her brother-in-law Bernie Kershaw. She is survived by: her children, Blaine (Delores) of Bawlf, Doug (Jacquie) of Josephburg, Marc (Cheryl) of Airdrie, Louanne of Okotoks, Alan (Lora) of Okotoks and Laurie (Dave) of Sherwood Park; her grandchildren, Brock (Angela), Dannielle (James), Mariah (Greg), Grayson, Kassandra (Scott), Leighton (Breanna), Taylor (Trevor) and Keelin (Eric); her great grandchildren, Leif, Aaro, Cassian and Tess; and her sister Hazel Kershaw. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators (Attn: Dan and Evangeline Birtles), an organization and couple whose purpose and mission were near and dear to Helen's heart.
