He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Liz; his sisters, Susan (Bruce) of Hek and Kathy Leachman (Roger); his niece Kristin; his brother Adriaan (Lani) of Hek; his nephew Harrison; his parents, Lally and Hendrik of Hek; and also Madelaine.
Hendrik shared that people wishing to do something in memorial for him could donate to their favourite pet charity.
