He was predeceased by: his parents, Duk Moon Chan and Mee Ching Yee Chan; his brothers, Benny, Don and Wilson; his parents-in-law, Jim and Chun Choi Chew; and his sister-in-law Theresa Novicki-Chew.

He is survived by: his children, Belinda Chan (Jeff Mack), Ryan Chan, Jason Chan (Kaela Chan) and Kevin Chan; his wife May Chan; his children, Hayley, Eric, Chloe and Ethan; his siblings, Tony Chen (Rose Chen), Kee Chan (Jenny Chan), Jenny Mah and Sue Yee (Won Ting Yee); and his siblings-in-law, Maria Chan, Yuet Yong Chan, Teresa Ma (Stan), Hong Chew and Tony Chew (Li Ping). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Henry's memory will be forwarded to Canadian Cancer Society.
