He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Heuver and Dina Heuver; his wife Joan Heuver; and his brothers, Wim, Gerard and Tony.

He is survived by: his children, Jeannie (Gord), Debra (Blaire) and George (Tamara); his grandchildren, Evan, Mara (Taylor), Michal, John (Angela), Tom (Calista), Connor and Holly; his great grandchildren, Shanelle, Maiyah and Henry; his brothers, Arnold (Anne) and John; his sister-in-law Anne; and his caregivers, Sharon, Vickie, Simonne and Sara. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his large family.
