He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Massey (Pimlott) and George Massey; and his siblings, Ronald Massey and Joan McNeil. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Massey (Patricia) and Carol Carpenter (late Ernie); his children, Raymond Massey (Marilyn), Norman Massey (Diane), Teresa Reinhart (Darrell), Geraldine Williams (Todd) and Jacqueline Dutka (late Doug); and his grandchildren, Christine, Colin, Vincent, Stuart, Nicole, Jared, Jacob, Lucas, Sarina, Amanda, Michael, Clifford and Olivia. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
