It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hernan Ariza of Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carola; and his brothers, Reinaldo and José Trino. He is survived by: his children, Cito Ariza (Lisa) of Calgary and Tricia Hoeppner (Geoff) of Edmonton; his siblings, Elisa Ariza (David Urrea) of Colombia and Santiago Ariza (Elsi) of Colombia; and his niece Susana Braden (Javier Vega Rodríguez). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Hernán's memory may be made to the CELCO Schools of Colombia through the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Alberta, or to the Roozen Family Pilgrims Hospice by E-transfer.
