It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilda Helen (Walde) Bennett (Calgary, Alberta), born in Bassano, Alberta, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Heinrich Walde and Maria Walde; her husband Robert Earl Bennett; her sons, Wayne Bennett (Nancy) and Stan Bennett (Danita) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Caileen Romanov (Valentina), Quinn Bennett, Amy Bennett, Nathan Bennett and Josh Bennett; and her great grandchild Ashton Romanov.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritans Purse Canada – (Samaritans Purse Water Program) which was dear to her heart.
