He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Jess), Roy (Janet) and Brian (Debbie); his grandchildren, Stuart, Colin (Carly), Rebecca, Katy, Tanya, Tussak, Liam and Tiegan; and his great grandchild Dylan.

Until Covid-19 caused the shutdown of services, Ian remained an active volunteer.
