It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ila Mae Payette (Calgary, Alberta), born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melville Morgan and Beatrice Morgan; her son Blake (Helen); her sisters, Edna Churchill and Betty Thomas; her nieces and nephews, Bev, Brenda, Tricia, Grant and Scott; her husband Maurice; and her siblings, Peggy Morgan and Bob Morgan.

The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021, requires all individuals attending funeral services to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption.
