She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel John MacDonald; and her grandson Scott Daniel Seaman. She is survived by: her daughters, Shannon Seaman (Allen Hagerman) and Maureen Novak (Bill Novak); her grandchildren, Kelly Hockley (Jared), Dr. Kerri Novak (Sean McIntyre), Ellen Novak (Paul Diedrich), Coleen Novak (Dan Garnett) and Tracey Novak (Scott MacDonald); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Ryan, Sadie, Liv, Hannah, Carsten, Madeleine and Dylan.

In memory of Irma, always a nurse, donations may be made to Holy Cross Alumnae, 327 Deer Run Crescent SE, Calgary, Alberta T2J 5N9.
