He was predeceased by: his sister Betty (Chuck); his brother-in-law Ken; and his parents, Irwin Horsey and Rita Horsey (Cheetham) of Ottawa. He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Cindy (Mark), Irwin Jr. (Teri) and Jennifer (Rob); his grandchildren, Ashley (Wayne), Shawn, Hayden and Turner; his great grandchild Harlin; his sister Joan Eades; and his brother-in-law Jim Northrop. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Flowers gratefully declined, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society.

“Doreen and Family. Tricia and I are deeply sadden by this news. We have many memories to cherish with both you and Irwin. Our trip to Vancouver to see Ildivo and we had an amazing few days is one of many. I will always cherish our recent visit visit with the lunch we share on the patio in Okotoks and the ice cream we went and shared after . The memory I take away was how full of grace and respect how he accepted his diagnosis and at peace he was. He was the most amazing gentleman . Hugs Love”
