He was predeceased by: his parents, Pero and Iva; his brother Mate; and his nephew Peter. He is survived by: his wife Lucijana Cvitanović of Chestermere; his children, Robert of Calgary and Ivana (Matt) of Chestermere; and his grandchildren, Nicole Cvitanović, Emma Byrne, Ava Cvitanović and Nathan Cvitanović.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service at Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 6:00 p. m. **Due to COVID-19, we are allowed a maximum capacity of 100 guests in our chapel. For those in attendance, please note that masks are mandatory and social distancing is required.** Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Marija Bistrica Croatian Catholic Parish, 14680 Deer Ridge Dr. SE, Calgary on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1:00 p. m.
