He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Knight and Harry Knight; his siblings, Freda, Albert and Charles; his wife Roberta Knight; and his close friend Gail Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Brad (Shanta) and Heather. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
