James Laurie Duncan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2023, James Laurie Duncan (Calgary, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jane McGowan; his parents, James and Gladys; and his brother Stuart. He is survived by: his children, Mary Jane (Rick), Jamie, Brent (Valerie), Grant (Jo-Anne) and Laurie Ann (Jeff); his grandchildren, Chris (Brittany), Scott (Carmen), Tim, Sarah (Brendan), Alison (Chad), Ben (Hope), Bailey (Taylor) and Katie; and his great grandchildren, Miles, Ida and Mabel.
Among other works of charity, Dad coordinated Inn from the Cold at St. Gerard's Parish, volunteered picking up furniture and delivering hampers for the St. Vincent De Paul Society and worked bingos for the Women's Shelter.
