He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lambert and Esther Lewis Trotman; his sister Gertrude Sangster (Kenneth); and his son-in-law Jerry Newman. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Jody (James Rolfe) and Jill Newman; his grandchildren, Joel (Alanna Wiercinski) and Jennifer (Sebastien Tétreault-Bergeron); and his great grandchildren, Everett and Logan Bergeron.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Scarboro United Church (134 Scarboro Ave S W, Calgary, AB T3C2H1). A reception was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
