With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean (Vetsch) Makar (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; her parents, Ed and Angela; her parents-in-law, John Makar and Anne Makar; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Koroluk and Robert Makar.
She is survived by: her children, Jay, Kami (Jonathan) and Ben (Lauren); her grandchildren, Madeline, Rebecca, Hudson and Kendall; her siblings, Marilyn MacLean (Tom), Maxine Tadman (Peter), Dale (Wendy), Gerry (Shirley), Julianne Taylor (Victor) and Susan Mitchell (Pat); and her brother-in-law Al Koroluk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
