With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Mekitiak (Calgary, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Stechishin and Anastasia Stechishin. She is survived by: her husband Harry C. Mekitiak; her siblings, Orest, Sonia Peach and Walter; her children, Lorraine Hydamaka (Arnie) and John Mekitiak (Sandra); her granddaughters, Megan Mekitiak, Beth Van (Josh) of Walker and Emma Beaulieu; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor and Max Van of Walker.
