She was predeceased by: her father Mervyn Sweezey. She is survived by: her husband Stan; her children, Kira Ellis (Brian) of Calgary and Mike Bergstrom of Calgary; her mother Eileen Sweezey; and her sister Sharon D'Arcy (Jim) of Saint John, NB.. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
