She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Friske and Otto Friske; and her brother Doug Friske. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Wade Hall, Ashley Shaw (Jon) and Kaley Herman (Jeff); her grandchildren, Jessica, Rebbecca, Bria, Camden, Carsen, Hadley and Corban; and her siblings, Phyllis Girling (Len) and Don Friske.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's memory to: McKenzie Towne Church, 7 McKenzie Towne Gate SE, Calgary, AB, T2Z 3W5 in support of their El Salvador missions.
