Joan McGraw Obituary

We announce the death of Joan McGraw (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 90. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Glenn Steinbach and Phylis Victoria Blackburn; her brother Jim; and her son John. She is survived by: her siblings, Judith, Glenn, Jake, Justin and Jed; her former husband Jack Guthrie; her children, Beverley, Patricia and Phyllis; her grandchildren, Joanie, Jevon, Dante, Aria, Issabella, Koko and Grace; and her great grandchild Jake.

Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
