She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her parents, William Tillett and Annie Tillett; her siblings, Doris Armstrong, Irene Anderson and William Tillett; her nephews, Larry Anderson, Doug Tillett, Ron Tillett and Norman Ellard; and her niece Gail Webb.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Barnes (Steve), Greg Forsgren (Sylvie) and Donald Forsgren (Ailsa); her grandchildren, Jason Barnes (Kate) of Ontario, Ryan Barnes (Shauna) of Ontario and Michelle Ogilvie (Trent) of Ontario; her children, Samantha Buchanan (Connor) of Calgary, AB, Adam Forsgren (McKenzie) of London, England, Taylor and Andrew Forsgren of Vancouver, BC.; her great grandchildren, Connor Barnes, Evan, Elizabeth Ogilvie and Shea Buchanan; and her stepgreat-grandson Calvin. She is also survived by four nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fish Creek United Church (77 Deerpoint Rd SE, Calgary, AB T2J6M6).
