He is survived by: his parents, Bob Duncan and Norma Duncan; his sisters, Shawn, Tracy (Heather) and Kelly (Cameron); his nieces, Ashley and Sara; his nephew Cody; his significant other Angela Luck; and his significant other's children, Chloe, Jesse and Noah. He is also survived by loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends.

He spent twenty years volunteering as a Principal Observer for the Rocky Mountain Eagle research Foundation counting golden eagles as they migrated through Kananaskis.
