She was predeceased by: her parents, Antje Boersma and Roelof Boersma; and her siblings, Arie, Hermina, Harry and Peter.
She is survived by: her brother Hessel "Pat" Boersma (Marie); and her children, James De Bruyn, Anita Lang (Ken), Theresa Gallant, Ralph De Bruyn (Brenda), Deborah Neufeld (Doug), Randy De Bruyn and Amy De Bruyn. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
