He is survived by: his wife Bridgette; his sons, John Darin, Oden David (Michelle) and Troy Donald (Paula); his grandchildren, Justin, Megan, Evan, Kaitlyn, Jackson and Isabella; and his sisters, Helen Bourgonje and Judy Friesen.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Dr NW, Calgary, AB T3B4R9). A burial was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
