John Howard Nodwell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2022, John Howard Nodwell (Calgary, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Leila; and his sister Pat Clay. He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Calgary, AB; his children, Keith (Joylin), Brian (Elizabeth) and Carla Pagnucco (Marcus); his stepsons, Blair Falconer (Anne-Sophie), Greg Falconer (Liane) and Cam Falconer (Tracy); his grandchildren, Geneva (Isaac), Dawson, Vienna, Luke, Miles, Paige, Jaden, Emilie, Alix, Lauren, Dani, Jake and Peyton; his brother Ted (Evelyn); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Clay, Albert Carlson (Jane), Bill James-Abra (Karen), Gretta Jensen, Martha Nance and Ruth McIntosh (David). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He donated natural lands at Horseshoe Canyon to the Nature Conservancy of Canada (see NCC: Nodwell on the web), and on the Bow River near Carseland to Western Sky Land Trust.
