He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Kress and Raymond Kress; and his siblings, Jane Kress, Adam, Ted, Peter and John Kress.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Kress of Strathmore, AB; his children, Denise Kent of Strathmore, David Kress of Calgary and Kevin Kress (Trish) of Tulum, Mexico; his grandchildren, Melanie Kent (Andrew), Sean Kent (Janelle), Dan Kent Michael (Desiree) and Krysten Kress (Austin); his great grandchildren, Pyper, Cleo and Sloane Kent; and his siblings, Isabel Olliver, Dolores Hoffinger and Robert Kress.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Arbor Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home ~ Arbor Chapel (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A reception was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Arbor Lounge) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
