He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Elmire; and his brother George. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Poirier; his brother Lawrence Ducharme; his sons, Greg (Kathy), Mike (Helen), Steve (Pawnarat), Kim (Jane) and Richard (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Daniel, Michelle (Sebastian), Cheryl (Brandon), Jody, Chantelle (Ferenc), Marissa (Benjamin), Megan (Thomas) and Emma; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Skyler, Vincent, Mathew, Alex, Ryder, Grayson, Brooklyn and Finnegan.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cremated Remains Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A reception will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Lounge) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
