It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Samaska of Calgary, Alberta, born in Mundare, Alberta, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley and Angela; his sister Genia (Rymond); and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Winnie Mckechnie; his children, Dean (Marcy), Anthony (Debbie) and Kathleen; his grandchildren, Justin (Tasha), Brittany (Shaun), Christopher (Cynthia), Amanda (Joey) and Nicolas (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Nixon, Maverick, Keaton, Brooklyn, Adam and Jasper; and his brother John (Muriel).
