She was predeceased by: her parents, George Desharnais and Olive Desharnais; her son Bill; and her sister Marilyn. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her daughter Candace Vanin; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Sutherland; her grandchildren, Nikita (David Dueck), Owen Vanin (Krystal Katan), Matt and Max Sutherland (Sarah Hermann); her great grandchildren, Scarlett and Piper Sutherland; her brother Leonard Desharnais of Summerland, BC; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Csikany of Medicine Hat. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
