She was predeceased by: her parents, George McGowan and Jean McGowan. She is survived by: her husband Brian; her children, Debbie Shepherd (Spencer), Dan Hill (Keri-Dawn) and Diana Hill; her grandchildren, Skyler, Kaya, Wyatt and Maverick; and her sister Marilyn Machum (Gerry). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Westview Baptist Church (1313 Ranchlands Way NW, Calgary, AB T3G2A1).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
