He is survived by: his children, Pamini, Murali, Giri and Dharshini; his children-in-law, Jude, Sarala and Komathy; his grandchildren, Maryanne, Patrick, Senthuran, Thomas, Mayuran, Thenuka, Viithuran, Thenila and Mukilan; and his brother Swaminathan (Sri Lanka).
