It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Ruth Erber (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Ruth Erber to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Erber; and her sisters, Joan Star and Elsie Bell. She is survived by: her daughters, Danielle Weiher (Stephan) and Andrea Walker; her grandchildren, Katherine and Philipp Weiher; and her sisters, Evelyn Mackin and Maxine Deck. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

“We are saddened to hear of Karen's passing; condolences to Danielle, Andrea and the extended family. First meeting in Montreal in the 1970s, we shared fine cuisine and good company. Our slightly older children enjoyed having two beautiful live dolls to play with. There was the baby powder incident with Danielle, but... Although separated by distance, time and circumstance we stayed in touch and always had a special place in our hearts for Karen and Jerry. May they both rest in peace.”
