With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl Messer (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on November 23, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Anne Weinrauch; his parents, Paul Messer and Magdalene Messer; his siblings, Maggie, Doris, James, Paul and Matt; and his granddaughter Grace.

He is survived by : his children, Cheryl (Orrist), Ed (Rhonda), Mark (Marna), Paul (Lorene), Annette and Tony (Dawn); his grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Nolan, Arianne, Robyn, Natalie, Ben, Sara, Myles and Erik; his great grandchildren, Joseph, David, Janelle and Thomas; and his siblings, Vikki (Jeff), Rose (Ray) and Joe (Claire). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
