She was predeceased by: her uncle Steve Prestie; her parents, Bill Highet and Phyllis Highet; her sister Merrill Highet; and her aunt Ramona Prestie.

She is survived by: her brother James Highet; and her siblings-in-law, Sheryl, Marie-Anne, Marilyn, Jane, Todd, Sandy and Ken. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
