She was predeceased by: her parents, Dmytro Gushulak and Anna Dubnik Gushulak; her grandson Stephen Murphy; and her husbands, Charles Matthews and Douglas Ollenbittle.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Matthews (Noel Murphy) and Brian Matthews (Susan); her grandchildren, Tony Murphy (Lori), Trevor Matthews (Debbie) and Heather Matthews (Jason Glac); her great grandchildren, Carter Murphy, Cameron Murphy, Caroline Glac, Harper Glac, Quinn Matthews and Sawyer Matthews; and her brother Julian Gushulak (Darlene). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
