He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Douglas and Elizabeth Douglas; his daughter-in-law Brenda Douglas; and his siblings, George, David and Kay.

He is survived by: his wife Olga Lengle; his children, Robert Douglas (Sandra), Terry Douglas (Nancy), Linda Bergen (Bob) and Lloyd Douglas; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Erin, Chris, Allen, Keath, Terri-Lea, MacKenzie and Alexis. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
