It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Michael Gutierrez (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gutierrez and Margaret Gutierrez; and his in-laws, Walter and Beth Horton. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Chris and Lisa; his son-in-law Trevor Smandych; his grandchildren, Jayden, Aria and Lincoln Smandych; his brother Doug Gutierrez; his sister-in-law Gail Gutierrez of Kemptville; his brother Ron Gutierrez of Edmonton; his sister-in-law Sandy Groot of Victoria; and his friend Dr. Richard Ward. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calgary Winter Club (4611 14 St NW, Calgary, AB T2K1J7).
