Kiyoshi Kawata Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Yukiko Kawata and Shozo Kawata; his brother Kazuo Kawata; and his brother-in-law George Higa. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kawata of Calgary, AB; his daughter-in-law Chris (Gina Kawata); his daughter Deidre Kawata-King; his grandchildren, Kristen King (Rob Vanderlinde), Reece Kawata and Connor Kawata; his great grandchild Oliver Vanderlinde; his sister Keiko Higa; and his sister-in-law Donna Kawata. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
